Banknote Processing Technology in Compliance with BNM Circular as of 12th of September 2023

QI Summary

The primary responsibility of Financial Institution (FIs) is to uphold the quality and integrity of Malaysian currency in accordance with the standards and guidelines outlined in the BNM QI Circular on 12th of September 2023.

Applicability

To all FIs including money changer, currency remittance & currency processor.

Highlights

In line with the QI, our proposal to assist FIs to comply to BNM QI standards. Below are the key highlights :-

Machines Requirement

Our models not only able to do basic counting, but also able to segregate fit, unfit and reject counterfeit.

Sensor Requirement

Each of the model comes with high tech IR Sensor, UV Light, magnetic and thickness.

Unfit & Forgery Detection

Unfit currency includes soiling, limpness, crumpling, and damaged corner folds. Defaced notes include ink wear, tears, holes, missing security features, and dye stains.

Software Capability

Our software tailored to the QI requirement through a thousands of unfit and forgery notes samples and calibrated regularly to ensure highest accuracy.
